UK-based Anders Electronics has been selected by Repromotion, an industry-leading supplier of digital signage solutions, as a global hardware partner
London, 10 December 2003. Anders Electronics has been selected as the global hardware partner for Repromotion, one of the world’s leading developers of content management systems for digital signage. The decision to appoint Anders is based on the UK-based company’s ability to allow Repromotion customers to work with a single source for their e-media display needs, including software, displays and MTUs (miniature PC-based multimedia players with wireless upload capability).
Repromotion is well known for its innovations in the digital signage market. Its latest development is its revolutionary Solus - a system which brings new levels of flexibility and cost-effectiveness to digital signage applications in the retail, leisure and other sectors. Solus uses a palm-sized multimedia MTU, offering wireless updating of content and Play Lists, as well as networking. Because the unit easily connects to a plasma, LCD or TV screen, it provides an extremely easy-to-use, flexible, cost-effective and high-quality means of displaying digital messages in any location, either as single or multiple displays.
Although the Solus system is available across the world through distribution, Repromotion wanted to add a partner who had the experience to act as a single source of supply, from software to display hardware. Anders, who had jointly developed the MTU at the heart of the Solus system with Repromotion, and who now manufactures the product, were, in many ways, a natural choice.
